Relaunch; a new and improved Innate Wanderings!

I’ve been plugging away at this for quite some time, but I’d like to welcome you all to the new and improved Innate Wanderings!

During the covid-19 pandemic, I halted updates on this blog for two reasons; the fact we were in lockdown and couldn’t go anywhere and I felt it to be a bit insensitive to even write about past adventures during a time we couldn’t hop on a place/train/boat/bus and go somewhere.

Some places are still struggling with it, and I’ll be starting up slowly since we’ve got a handle on it in New Zealand.

I spent my time during lockdown working remotely and writing, for the most part, but I also started to think about the next evolution for this site.

Growing from just a blog

As mentioned last year, I split the writing elements from Innate Wanderings into their own site, giving me two dedicated spaces to work with and show my passions. It’s been slow going but I’m finally at a stage where I’m happy with both.

I knew then that I wanted this site to be more than just a blog documenting where I’d been. I’ve learned so much over the last couple of years, and some of that doesn’t make sense in a blog format.

So, here we are. It might just look like a blog now but I’m working on a whole bunch of new and different content.

More updates coming

I’m planning to share tips, experiences, advice, and information. Some of it will be based around locations, or what to look out for when planning or travelling. I want to share more photos and create some short videos. They might not be great at first, but I’ll keep at it until they’re better.

I’ve hidden some of the pages until I have something to put on them, so more is coming. It’ll just take some time.

Until I get it right, please be a little patient with me. I’m still learning and some of this is way outside of my comfort zone!

I’ve got a few blogs to share soon, so make sure you follow the blog to avoid missing them.
